Our Approach

MW Morrissey Construction’s approach is to be an integral business partner with you. We work hard to build long standing relationships with our clients. We don’t believe any project is successful until there is a win/win where all stakeholders are as satisfied and enthusiastic on the completion date as we were on the start date.

From Project Carpenter to President and Senior Practicing Partner of MW Morrissey Construction, Kevin Morrissey has emerged as a true leader in the Southwest’s construction industry.

Kevin’s forty plus years of on-the-job experience in construction included roles as Carpenter, Foreman, Project Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, Senior Vice President at Chestnut Construction, and Co-Owner and President for 11 years at Barker Morrissey Contracting.  With extensive knowledge founded and developed out of Tucson, AZ, MW Morrissey Construction is not limited to the borders of this beautiful state.  Kevin carries his expertise and values to where you need it most.  Having successfully completed business and managing projects in Colorado, Ohio, Florida, Montana, California, Nevada, Texas, and Pennsylvania, Kevin is well versed beyond the southwest borders, making him an expert in mobile General Contracting as well.

Some of Kevin’s notable construction projects include Desert Diamond Casino, Universal Avionics buildings 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 totaling 200,000 square feet, Texas Instruments, and numerous renovations at TMC Medical Facilities. The Desert Diamond Casino Project alone was a $40 million, 170,000 sq. ft. casino with administration offices, full service restaurant, buffet, three cafeterias, conference center, two wells and a stand alone water treatment facility.

Throughout his multi-faceted construction career, Kevin has dedicated time and expertise to many non-profit community organizations such as Third St. Kids, House of Neighborly Service, Arts for All, Tucson Center for Women and Children, Travelers Aid Homeless Shelter, and the Gospel Rescue Missions Bethany House.  Kevin’s heart and time isn’t limited to our fellow man/woman in need.  He and his wife, Cindy, extend their open hearts and home to four legged friends as well.  In his free time (yeah right), you can find the whole Morrissey clan in the mountains getting back to their roots or at a sporting or community event re/charging their spirit.
